Business Models
Time and Material
Niyuj engages with customers on a time and material basis which essentially means that Niyuj sets up dedicated teams for the customer. Niyuj manages those teams and ensures that they execute adhearing to pre-defined plan which is mutually agreed with the customer before the start of the engagement. The customer is charged a monthly fee per resource. br> This enagagement gives the customer maximum flexibility in both time and cost as well as definition of the deliverable. Most startup and product development customers opt for this model because they have the flexibility to change course at any time with respect to deliverable, team size, time line etc.
Fixed Cost
Where the requirements and the deliverables are tightly defined, Niyuj scopes out the work and estimates the effort and then provides both a time line and cost for the project. This rarely works for product companies and startups, because they need to flexibility to change requirements based on feedback, product management etc. This works for well defined shorter term projects.
Cost Plus
In some exceptional cases, Niyuj shares the operating costs and mutually agrees with the customer on a markup percentage. This is typically done when hight end niche resources like domain experts, architects are required and it does not fit into the regular time and material scheme.
Hybrid
When the requirements are not well defined, but customer still wants a fixed price bid, Niyuj engages with the customer to scope out requirements on a time and material basis and then comes up with a scope of work and estimate which can be fixed cost. This works well for startups and product companies who want to prototype something specific, but not for full blown product development.
Build Operate and Transfer
Niyuj helps customers get their own dedicated offshore development center started and operational. This happens by engaging in either a time and material or cost plus model above and then extending that model with a build operate and transfer model. This means that the dedicated team assigned to the customer is initially built and operated by Niyuj and then after a pre-defined interval can be transfered to form the customers own team. This works well for customers who are looking to setup their own offshore operations but do not want to make the initial investment till they have proven to themselves that the offshore model works for them.
